Tour of Torfaen - 23 October 2005

The Tour of Torfaen half marathon is nearly all downhill and is a super pb course. There was also general agreement that it would be a good one for beginner half marathoners. A team of 5 made the journey to Cwmbran and from there to the start at Blaenafon (just). The road race is well organised and supported by the Police and the local Authority. It is super-fast, so you can expect to knock about 5 mins off your previous pb! A good time was had by all in perfect (and rain-free) conditions. We would recommend it.
